On June 01, 2009 a new office with 24-Hour Alarm Center of Global Voyager Assistance group started operations in Odessa city, Ukraine.
In March 2009 Global Voyager Assistance’s Network Development Managers travelled to Tunisia to extend the network of medical providers for the 2009 summer season due to an increased number of Russian travelers to this country.
On November 10-14, 2008 Global Voyager Assistance participated in the International Travel Insurance Conference (ITIC) www.itic.org.uk which took place in Budapest. The conference agenda encompassed not only ‘pure’ travel insurance subjects but also general assistance, assistance medicine, air ambulance and IPMI issues.
Dr. Arthur Zulficarov, General Manager of Global Voyager Assistance – Moscow made a presentation ‘Medical Assistance’ in which he covered aspects of medical assistance in Russia including major assistance players, air ambulance providers, and healthcare facilities in Moscow, Saint-Petersburg and other regions.
On October 07, 2008 Global Voyager Assistance participated in a specialized HR Conference ‘Bringing Expats to Russia’ arranged by the Association of European Businesses (AEB) in Moscow.
